Finding Vivian Maier

Vivian Maier, was a nanny who has now wowed the world with her photography and who incidentally recorded some of the most interesting peculiarities of urban America in the second hal of the 20th century. Vivian Maier’s work (including over 100.000 medium format negatives, thousands of prints and undeveloped rolls of film) was discovered in 2007 at a local thrift auction house in Chicago by the photographer John Maloof who madea documentary about this incredible story.
