40 metres of Unidisplay at Hangar Bicocca

The German artist/musician Carsten Nicolai presents a 40 metres audiovisual installation at HangarBicocca in Milan. Unidisplay combines the most important themes of Nicolai’s work: the ability to make optically audible sound, the minimal aesthetic in the use of monotone color (variations on black and white) and sonority, and the propensity towards abstraction and to infinity.

Carsten Nicolai is known internationally for his installations and performances that explore the connections between vision, sound, architecture, science and technology.

Until 2 December + a performance by the artist on 29 November.
