DESIGN CRIMES: Patriotism
6:30pm, Thursday 21st June 2012. FREE to attend
LBi
Atlantis Building, Truman Brewery, 146 Brick Lane, London, E1 6RU
The event format: Five panelists each choose five examples of Design Crimes; items they feel present a particular crime in performance, function, form or interactive frustration. Each Design Crime event follows a particular theme and this one is Patriotism, which is entirely appropriate while the events of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee are still fresh in our minds.
The panelists are: Angus Montgomery, editor of Design Week; Hugo Eccles, owner of Hugo Eccles Studio; Carolyn Burke from Sheppard Robson Architects; Casey Evans, creative director; final panelists to be confirmed. The hosts are LONDON DESIGN GUIDE editor Max Fraser and owner of Plan-B Studio, Steve Price.
Each panelist will be given circa twenty-five seconds to present their item, after which the discussion will be opened to the rest of the panel to agree/disagree and the audience to participate.
Brave enough to say Hello!
